CREC adopts BT model in Shenzhen Metro Line 11 with the line length of 51.936 km, belonging to Coastal Express and Airport Express in the Western of Shenzhen. Metro Line 11 sets 18 station composed of underground station 14, elevated station 4, and transfer station 10 with a top speed of 120 km. The running time from Futian to Bitou only needs 55 minutes. It is reported that CREC vigorously promotes the use of new technologies and materials during the construction process. Shenzhen Line 11 is one of the subway lines with the most complicated geological conditions in China. The design of its tunnel is bigger than the average diameter of other metro tunnel. For this reason, CREC developed in-house the large shield machine with a diameter of 6.98 meters and it was put the 29 sets in Shenzhen Line 11, which got the first successful application in the Shenzhen area.
